Statement

My current body of work  is built with the influences of encasement,  moss as a signifier of an ecosystem.  The work is informed by cabinets of curiosities and architectural adaptations.

Art has become  a storytelling tool; braiding personal myths, ethnography, historical documentation or indexes of transformation.

The loose tooth is a talisman.  The arrow travels from bow frame to skin.   The oven opens; a portal.

The characters, the affected sweeps, the architecture, the frames, the myth, the capes, and the retracing of paths are what I think of as alternative indexing consisting of extended visual expression.
